Established in 1928 by our namesake, Fred Cheek Monuments has been family owned for three generations and has proudly assisted families for over 73 years. We are located on the near west side of downtown Fort Worth and provide services to all of Tarrant County as well as the adjacent counties of Johnson, Parker, Wise, Denton, Ellis, and Dallas.

You can be assured we concentrate on meeting our client's needs and desires. We are not a wholesaler nor do we mass-produce product for storefront only operators, funeral homes, or cemeteries. We prefer to produce lasting, meaningful memorials one at a time for individual families. Design, layout, carving, and engraving are done in house at our shop.

From family estate mausoleums to ground level grave markers, we can meet any need. We have a large display of upright monuments in many shapes and granite colors and we will gladly assist you in selecting the right memorial for you or your loved ones. A memorial is a lasting tribute to a person's life; we encourage you to take some time in completing this task. In time, your thoughtful consideration will be rewarded. We are an authorized Georgia Marble dealer for marble memorials. For those who prefer bronze or must have bronze memorials to meet requirements of certain cemeteries, we carry a full line of bronze memorials. Additionally, we carry flower vases, statuary, benches, monument pictures, and some cremation products.

We also provide granite and bronze signs/plaques, commemorative markers, trail markers, and memorials for civic, fraternal, veterans, and military organizations.

As one of the original founding firms, Fred Cheek Monuments has been an active member of the Monument Builders of the Southwest since its inception. Owners, Sammie and Dennis Peters, have served in leadership positions for many years. In 1999, they were selected as "Memorialist of the Year" by MBSW.
